My hubby woke up puking this morn, but still went to work. I don't envy him. Hope you're over the flu now!

I hate it when the gal who waxes my upper lip always grimaces and apologizes and wants to take it slow. Um, no. Get it over with!

I'm finally getting over my stuff. I can breath again and my eyes aren't crusted shut. TMI? Sorry!

What is it with waxers and dentists? Don't talk to me. Do your business and let me get out!

Yep, kids are like sponges. They totally pick up everything...even when you don't think they are listening.

20 below AHHH

About the poop circle, we did the same when it snowed here and they both just jumped right over it and back into the snow. . .

Hope you feel better soon!

XOXOXOXO

Love the poop circle one! That is so funny!!!!

Excellent. Great news about the 5 lbs, but the stomach flu, not fun. I am kind of lazy today, but may do a note or two later on. Happy PINT! ;) hee hee.

My dog does the same thing.

So it isn't just MY dogs? All dogs are dumb, aren't they?

Mmmmmm Sloppy joe, slop-sloppy joe. Wonder how low carb I can make that.

Are you feeling better?

Your last one- so true about kids- I want to cover their ears most of the time. Anyone says anything in front of them and they'll remember it forever.

its pretty cold here in Metairie today! not suppose to get out of the 40's all week. it was 28 (ah!) when i woke up this morning. reminds me of nj and makes me regret cursing all those summer days down here.

im YOUR newest follower too!!!

For sure, if you're driving to Texas, you can take a pit stop in Tulsa, can't you? Just a little one?

Please?

With sugar and mayonnaise on top?

Triplets Plus Two Momma said...

Kids are smart and they do pick on everything---this morning one of my triplets couldnt buckle her seatbelt through all the winter bundle and shouted out that this was "ridiculous".

Clearly, not something a 4 year old typically says.

Oops. My bad.

Snarkler...it hurts me to miss it. Have a drink for me please!

I'm sad now.

I think it more than makes up for the negative 20 degrees that you get to be in Texas in 10 short days!!

I'd love to know what it was that someone ignorant fool thought your kids wouldn't pick up on. Seriously...they have super powers!

We've got the dog issue here too. Snow is deeper than one of my dogs is tall. She still ventures out to the middle of the yard to do her stuff. I don't see how the poop doesn't just back up into her. There's no 'drop space' if you know what I mean.

Twenty below? You're kidding, right? Please tell me you're kidding or I will have a panic attack in your honor.

what is a no reply blogger and how do i change that?

small world! we've been here for a little over two years. we live in the 70006 area! right by clearview mall!

next time you are in town! coffee and beignets!

blueviolet said...

Wait...did you say you shoveled out a poop circle? LOL

How are you gonna meet Lee? How fun!

Menopausal New Mom said...

Hey, I love the new photo and wow, 5 pounds gone! What is it with women that we can be so damn sick and jump right on the scale to see how much weight we've lost Lol!

You're meeting Lee!! I'm so jealous!!!

purejoy said...

what the heck. you have a million followers and don't need some gratis visit from a newbie, but here i am and i feel your pain with the flu (well, i haven't had it but i've puked in my lifetime, and didn't enjoy it.). flu=not fun. feel better!
and i'm so glad i
a) don't have to shovel
b) don't have to make a poop circle
c) try to convince my 3 wiener dogs to poop in subzero temps. they barely comply with 20s.

freezing in knoxville (hey, we're southerners. it's cold here when it's below 30)

ScoMan said...

The flu is great for weight loss. I often wonder if that's the secret to weight loss tablets, just give them a dose of the flu.

adrienzgirl said...

My boys always bitch about Sloppy Joes too. What part of SLOPPY didn't you get?

Amber said...

Our dog does the same thing!

purejoy said...

begin one tree hill at your own risk. i'm serious. i'm addicted… it would be nice if they'd do a nice little marathon like they're doing with grey's (another show i'm absolutely addicted to) on lifetime. three episodes a nite (great for DVRing)
have skimmed a couple of your other posts, i think i'm gonna have to follow you too (along with many others, i see). love the one about the bra. hahahaha (so not funny if you're wearing it, tho)
always glad to meet a new friend!

I'm still laughing over the sloppy joes- my daughter used to eat hers with a fork :)

Mad Woman said...

My kids flatly refuse to eat sloppy joes because they're too messy. It's sad.

ugh, sorry about the flu! I felt it slowly invading my body today and now tonight, I'm in bed with chicken soup. Yippee for work tomorrow! Ha.

PS: I borrowed your post it note to the flu and stuck it on the fridge. I dare it to come near Bear. Grrrr.

PPS: I love your post it note posts and that's not even the flu talkin'!

20 below?? Ugh. That's terrible!

Hope you feel better.... But at least you lost 5 pounds, right? People find it odd that I am always happy to be sick... lol

Noelle said...

the stomach flu just hit our house today. i'm gonna have to blog about it.

Chocolate Covered Daydreams said...

The post it notes are adorable but not the stomach bug. Hope the kids are free from it...especially since they apparently ate sloppy joes. By the way, were they not liking the fact that they were sloppy? Personally, my sis and I hated them because they were soggy. Twins think the same on things like that.

You'll have to post pics of you and Lee.

Kimberly said...

Five lbs gone is good, but food leaving the wrong way...so bad!

Hope your babies don't get it. So very sad to see the babies barfing.
