In short, it was a lovely evening for a good cause and I have to give a shout out to my Matron of Honor, Anne, and The Father Load's Best Man, David. They both did a great job. David's wife, Tiffany, made sure to take many incriminating photos throughout the night, some of which I will be sharing
Here's my dress:
David's Bridal $99 special. No lie.
Perhaps it looks prettier on the hanger.
A little something blue from Victoria's Secret from my sweet Matron of Honor, Anne.
A little support for the "girls." Didn't need these last time because I
had falsies sewn into my wedding gown.
Bling from Ann Taylor. My wedding gift to myself.
OPI nail polish = Miso Happy With This Color
Being goofy. Oh, and why didn't anyone tell me about Fashion Tape
before last night? I could've used some. A-hem.
A box of treasures my next door neighbor, Jami, brought me to
help me accessorize for the evening! Purses, jewelry,
and a very sweet card!
Sadly, The Father Load has a habit of closing his eyes in many photos.
But here's a back view where you can see my side bun
that I did myself, & the back of my dress.
Pink flower belt in hair by J. Crew.
Oh, and Hubs in his Banana Republic suit.
Being goofy. Oh, and why didn't anyone tell me about Fashion Tape
before last night? I could've used some. A-hem.
Before the ceremony, standing in front of the chuppah.
My necklace by 74 Harley Street Designs.
My Matron of Honor, Anne, me, The Father Load, & his Best Man, David.
David gave the most touching speech and we were so moved by his beautiful
tribute to us and our girls. Thank you, David! Kudos to David
& Tiffany for spending an evening with a bunch of Jews! LOL
We had our own cake, screened with a photo from our original wedding.
We thought it came out pretty nicely. And it sure tasted good!
I needed a little booze because I had cold feet.
I wasn't sure I could marry The Father Load the first time,
let alone a second time. Sheesh. I kid, I kid!
Just before we walked down the aisle. Cool because in the background
you can see part of the slide show---and the photo is of all of us,
but you can only see The Father Load holding Baby Izzy.
Getting ready to walk down the aisle for the second time.
I don't know how to fix red eye, so shut it.
This is all of us standing under the chuppah during the ceremony.
I know it's dark. I don't know how to fix it. Sue me.
So there you have it, folks. My second Jewish wedding. L'chaim!
I think we need to put the "fun" back into FUNdraisers!
What organizations do you like to support?

-->Very cool idea and I love that it helps children with special needs.
(You can fix red eye in picnik.com fairly easily.)
I love the dress too!

Mazel Tov-
Dr J and I just celebrated our ten year last month and we contemplated renewing our vows but settled for returning to the chapel and taking photos- I would have done it for charity- what a mitzvah!
You looked beautiful! I love that dress!
You had all the special touches and your dress was gorgeous!!! What a wonderful 2nd wedding!
What a great idea and a great cause!
Love it! You two look incredible. What a fun idea and a great way to donate to charity. Looks like such a fun night!
I love this idea and would so do it for a fundraiser.
I've been wanting to do this for so long.
Because, now, years later, marriage vows mean something different.
This was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your hair looks great! I'm very impressed that you did that yourself.
The back of the dress is awesome!
(my hubs always closes his eyes too...maybe I should give the "from the back" pics a try from now on!)
What a fun idea for the cake! I love it.
I love how you carried just the one huge flower.
Second wedding congrats to you! One more to go and you will catch up with me and Thomas (yes, we had three!) And just as important you raised money for a GREAT cause!
LOVE this! You are one hot smokin' Mama in that dress. Damn, you rocked that wedding, girl!
On a side note, I do love that the fundraiser went towards special needs children...that makes me love you all the more!
You looked beautiful and I love that you payed a hundred bucks for the dress - that's what I paid for my wedding dress too:) What fun and a great cause!
Sorry sweetie, but, today anyway, I'm not as classy as your other commenters and want to say that on your body challenge a few months ago you failed to mention the size of "those babies" you were showing off at the wedding. Are they bigger than mine because I'm not Jewish?
Tempted to say something nice now but why spoil the fun? :)Cherry
That is so awesome! You looked beautiful. That dress was amazing on you too. It is so great that you were able to have a second wedding and raise money for needy children. You both rock!
ooo fun! Thanks for sharing the pictures. You are gorgeous!
What an awesome idea, and you look GORGEOUS!!! Love the cake, too, that's great!

You look absolutely GORGE! I love the dress and you both look really happy. Congrats, friend!
Your work outs definitely show! You look incredible in that dress. Wowsers. I also love the cake (what a cool idea) and the slide show. This is all so wonderful, especially since the proceeds go to help others! I saw your fb "going to the temple" song and it made me smile because that's the way I sang the song when I got married too (albeit in a different temple). :0)
Look at you, beautiful!! He married you cuz you told him you'd put out, huh? I knew it!
Love this idea. Hubs and I eloped, so think we might do a 'real' wedding someday.
And ummm... your boobs look awesome.
May you have many long years together and may this time be even better than the first time!! You look beautiful...as usual...bitch.

You both look great and he even has his eyes open in the pictures. Sounds like a wonderful time, and for a great cause.

Congratulations, Erin! Looks like a wonderful night for a good cause.
You seriously look BEAUTIFUL!
I am glad you had a wonderful time and could renew your vows a second time...Nice. Where's the FatherLoad taking U for a honeymoon?
what a wonderful fundraiser idea. You looked gorgeous. What a fun night
You look gorgeous!! And what an amazing event for a great cause. My husband's work recently started a foundation, The Long Island Plastic Surgical Foundation. It's to help fund plastic surgery trips to Asia/Central America/Africa/Haiti etc. where the dr's perform minor surgeries that the people living there could not otherwise afford (e.g. cleft lip/palate). I think we will try to start to support that a bit more, since it it very personal to us.
Lovely!
Love it! Love the odea, love the message, love that it's for a good cause!
And PS- You look HOT! That dress is FABULOUS and you were rocking it!!
You look freaking gorgeous!! I can't believe you did that bun yourself, you are truly a woman of many talents:)
My only question is this...at any point in the night were you dropped from a chair? Please say you were!
OK you have THAT figure and you HIDE IT?? Seriously , gonna have to ome beat you now.. hmmm what to beat you with?? Ah heck I am too exhausted lol.. been a long day so you slide by this time. I would like to do a real ceremony the FIRST time.. I mean we are married, that so didn't come out right.. oh NM lol..
Ya'll are so cute and you are gorgeous..
This is amazing!
And I would love to have spent that night with all you Jews, no matter what my nickname is.... haha This will probably be one of my first years not celebrating Hanukah, and I'm getting a little antsy about it.
Love that you did it for a great cause!
I have no idea why you were worried - your hair looks fantastic!
Almost makes me look away from your boobs. Almost.
Simply gorgeous, all of you, inside and out.
I'm not even sure I can express how beautiful you look. And the Father Load is lookin' pretty sharp himself. I love that y'all did this. So wonderful in so many ways. I'm glad you had such a fabulous re-wedding. It makes my heart smile... :)
very nice!! :-) Love your dress. I'm in the process of dress shopping for my wedding next year. It's overwhelming. :-)
You've still got it, kid! And the girls look pretty perky, too! ;)

Did you ride around in the chairs again? I want to see that!
Whoa, awesome fundraiser! You look beautiful.
You look beautiful! What a fun way to support an organization. Congratulations!
Erin,
Loved your dress. Loved your jewelry. Loved your hair. You looked stunning. What a beautiful way to raise money for something close to your heart. I love this idea.
Okay, that the coolest fund raiser I've heard of in a long time! Congrats for participating.
You look absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe it was only $99!!!
Thanks for sharing you 2nd big day!
Hope you are feeling great.
xo jj
PS I support arts education in public school, lupus, cancer, seniors and autism organizations.
Holy cow, woman! You look hot!!! I love how you did your hair...and the dress..wow!! I bet The Father Load was wondering how he got so lucky the second time around!!!
How wonderful that you did this for charity (added bonus)
I got that lump looked at and my dr is gonna keep an eye on it. She measured it and I have to go back in next month to have her remeasure it. She said, at the most, it may just be a lipoma or something like that (fatty tumor...on my ass....how lovely).
Also, while I was there, I got my mammagram done. Cannot believe how quick and simple it was!!! I'm gonna do a post about my experience and link to you since your post really motivated me to get my ass to the dr!
This is awesome!! You look so gorgeous...love that dress! Congrats on getting hitched again!
That dress alone makes me want a second wedding. Gorgeous.
You are a SEXY BRIDE! Love it! The event sounds amazing. Glad you have such nice memories now fo your second wedding to The Father Load! Congrats!
How fun! And you look beautiful!
What a great idea for a fun raiser! You looked beautiful!!
Yup, you're stunning. Inside and out.
My original dress was only $160, which left plenty of money in our budget for more booze.
Priorities.
In all seriousness, what a wonderful cause.
It took me a while to read this (sigh, real life happens, what can you do?) but wow, what a great idea for the fundraiser! Congratulations on the renewal of vows. May I just say, you were a radiant bride all over again. The dress was great and you looked terrific in it! Way to go Mama! ;)
Erin ---- you look beautiful!!! I love the dress too (what a steal at only $99).
Sounds as though you had an absolutely splendid time.
Okay. I wondered what the heck was going on, but didn't want to be impolite by asking. Ha! Lovely dress, great find, and beautiful bride and groom. How wonderful that in doing something for others, you received the gift of renewing your vows. That's so you! Thank you for sharing this with us. And fashion tape? Does that come in strengths (e.g. industrial) as well as sizes?
Erin, what a wonderful idea and fund raising at the same time! I would love to do something like this as long as I didn't have to repeat the wedding night too Lol!
What a great time! You look so beautiful!
What an awesome idea too.
Cheese N' Rice you are beautiful. Hug from the west coast. Love ya Erin and my good thoughts and energy are always with ya, even when I am a neglectful friend. :-) - Heather O
