This video clip was taken in December, but I wanted to wait to share it until my new blog was almost ready. Thanks to Lee and Tracie for filming it and going with me! This day was monumental and marked a significant change in my way of thinking. The tattoo embodies the inspiration behind my tag line: The Road to My Writer Roots. New Orleans is my home, where so much happened to me. It's my heart, where I write from. And now I carry it with me on my right hip---a glorious fleur de lis

How fun that you have video of your tattoo. You seemed relaxed. I got mine back in 1993 - back when no one had video cameras and if you did they were the size of Texas. Hee hee. So no video of the tattoo process for me - although that would've been fun to watch so many years later ;-)
OUCH OUCH OUCH>> But a heads up.. my well builtpecs the size of mountains, blue gray eyed , sexy as hell houseguest is a tattoo artist. So when You come to KY I can hook ya'll up cause he is AWESOME.. He did Gene's latest tattoo and Ilove it. I want a tattoo and yet I am terrified of the needles lol
That is neat that you recorded getting your tattoo. You were so brave. I love the fleur de lis symbol-must be those years teaching world history. I can't wait to see the new site.

WOW! I could never put a video of me getting a tattoo on my blog. I tend to keep it safely "PG" and that...yes, that would take me up to a "R" and a nice disclaimer.
